This is my blog. No content calendar, no brand voice, no funnel- just a place to write when I want to and shut up when I don't.
The aesthetic is on purpose: black, loud, a little dramatic. Old-internet energy- Top 8 friends-list energy, actually, minus the glitter cursors- because that's the last time a personal site felt like it belonged to the person running it instead of an algorithm. Last.fm stays because charting what I actually listen to is more honest than anything I'll manage to write down.
WriteFreely runs the actual writing once the self-hosted instance is up- until then you're reading mock posts, and I'd rather you see the scaffolding than wait for me to hide it. Built to run on free tiers because I'm not paying a SaaS for permission to have opinions.
Private posts stay private, full stop- they don't render here. Unlisted means you needed the link. Public hits the feed. That's the whole model, and I'm not going to dress it up as more sophisticated than it is.
