This is where I write when something won't leave my head alone. Some of it's grief, some of it's a rant, some of it's about a band nobody around me has heard of. There's no schedule; I post when I need to and go quiet when I don't.
Music is most of it. Metalcore, post-hardcore, emo- the stuff that got me through being a teenager and somehow keeps getting me through being an adult. I've logged every song to Last.fm since 2005 (61,000 and counting), so if you want to know how I'm actually doing, the listening page is probably more honest than I am.
I used to book shows, too. The gigs page is an archive of rooms I've stood in, and a lot of them are ones I helped fill.
The look is on purpose. Black, red, loud, a little dramatic- old-internet, Top 8 energy, back when a personal site felt like it belonged to the person running it.
